Sorry to clog up the space with my ramblings, but I'm getting desperate for fellow volunteers here.



I'm driving down (at this point, hopefully) to New Orleans to volunteer with Common Ground Collective on March 17th and returning on the 26th or 27th (negotiable). I'm looking for people to share the cost of renting a car. If four people go, with gas, it would only be around $100 each. Common Ground (and Habitat for Humanity) both provide room and board.

Although Co-Op conjures up "stinky hippie" in my mind, this seems to work. It's an awesome gallery space with room for 5 resident artists. Maybe it will take Lawrence a little while before it's ready for this though. More people = more desire/need.
